Our Foundation
The Virendra Swarup Educational Foundation, founded by the late Dr. Nagendra Swarup in 1989 as a tribute to his father, Dr. Virendra Swarup, stands as a testament to a remarkable educational legacy. Carrying forward his father's visionary ideals, Dr. Nagendra Swarup dedicated himself to the mission of providing high-quality education to children in underserved and less-developed regions of Kanpur and its surrounding areas.
The Foundation's journey began in 1990, with the establishment of its first and the flagship school in Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur. At the time, this initiative was particularly significant as the school was among the few institutions serving the educational needs of the area.
Following the establishment of the flagship school in Kidwai Nagar, Dr. Nagendra Swarup continued to expand the Foundation's educational vision, establishing nine more schools, including pre-primary and primary institutions, across Kanpur, Unnao and Farrukhabad. These institutions were established with the aim of making quality education accessible to children and creating opportunities for learning, growth and a brighter future.
Today, the Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to educational excellence and the holistic development of young minds. It strives to address the diverse needs of the community while nurturing students with knowledge, analytical abilities, interpersonal skills and the confidence to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
Mission
The establishment of the school in Farrukhabad in 2006 was particularly significant, as at that time the city had very limited access to quality education. This initiative was driven by the vision of making quality education accessible to the children of Farrukhabad and its surrounding areas, providing them with opportunities to learn, grow and build a brighter future.
We seek to provide an encouraging, nurturing and enriching environment where students can confidently face the uncertainties of life, discover their potential and develop into well-rounded individuals.
Our aim is to nurture students into responsible, happy and wise human beings who are able to use their knowledge and skills effectively. Through meaningful learning experiences and opportunities to serve and support those less fortunate, we encourage our students to develop compassion, empathy, discernment and a strong sense of social responsibility.
We are committed to helping every young individual discover a sense of purpose, realise their potential and contribute meaningfully to the well-being of society.
